Sharing the Love & Loving the Rocks Starting date for this Blog Time Period Ending date for this Blog Time Period 13 February 2019 27 February 2019 Since the last Blog I have Since the last blog, my group and I had our second rock painting party with Ms. Robbins action period. The students painted around 40 rocks (approximately 2 per student). The students shared the rocks with their friends and some kept them for themselves. I posted on our Instagram a few new photos for our viewers as well. More rocks have been passed out to students in our class and around the school too. My group and I have decided to paint the last few rocks we have left over to use while presenting our TED Talk. Finally, I worked with Tehani on making our slides for the upcoming presentation as well. This is a photo of 3/4 of my group with our rocks in hand that we took since the last blog period at school:   I am now working on Currently, I am working

Action Period Painting Starting date for this Blog Time Period Ending date for this Blog Time Period 30 January 2019 13 February 2019 Since the last Blog I have Since the last blog, my group and I went over to Kadyn's house for a rock painting session on Sunday and I painted around 5 rocks, giving my group a total of 15 rocks, 5 per the three people that attended. Tiana was unable to come since she had a busy weekend and was tired from band camp. We also planned a rock painting session with Ms. Robbins action period students which was held on 12 February 2019. On that day, I explained to the students the purpose of the project and passed out the rest of my personal rock supply for them to use. I also passed out paint to students provided by Ms. Robbins and students were able to paint around 2-3 rocks each. My group and I do need to go back into the action period with the students to finish up the rocks on Thursday so they can write down their quotes. This

Elevator Talks & Painted Rocks Starting date for this Blog Time Period Ending date for this Blog Time Period 16 January 2019 30 January 2019 Since the last Blog I have Since the last blog, I've painted a total of 18 Rocks of Aloha which included several new quotes and phrases. This past weekend, I took 6 of the painted rocks to Kailua Beach to hide them near plants, peaking out of the sand in areas often walked past and on low tree branches.  With the 12 left over rocks, I distributed them around school, giving them to other peers.  Lastly, today my group and I re-filmed our 20 Time Elevator Talk video clips since a few of the older clips got lost. All of the needed clips were finished today.    This is a photo of one of the rocks I hid a Kailua Beach recently: I am now working on At the moment, I am working on making sure the 20 Time Elevator Talk video is completely edited by Tehani by this coming weekend since the

Rock Painters, Camera Women & Directors Starting date for this Blog Time Period Ending date for this Blog Time Period 5 December 2018 19 December 2018 Since the last Blog I have Since the last blog, I have painted 4 rocks on my own and have given them to a few of my peers with my team mates. Besides that, I have been updating our "Rocks of Aloha" Instagram account with images of quotes and phrases that will be featured on a few of our larger rocks shortly. My group and I were unfortunately unable to get together this past weekend since the holidays are quickly approaching so we decided to work independently. I also worked with writing our elevator talk video script with Tiana the last 20 time day. I was able to film a few of my team mates reciting their lines today (12/19). I also sent Tiana my video clip for the elevator talk video since she will be editing it. This is a photo of me filming Tehani's Elevator talk video clip at school

Sharing the Aloha One Step at a Time Starting date for this Blog Period Ending date for this Blog Period 7 November 2018 21 November 2018 Since the last Blog Period I have  Since the last blog, Kadyn and Tiana came over to my house two weeks ago on a Sunday and  we began to paint our rocks. We painted about 15 rocks and took photos of them.  Unfortunately, Tehani was unable to join us at my house because she had a swim meet so she painted  her own rocks at home. When we were last together, we created the "Rocks of Aloha" Instagram account and gmail and discussed together which photos to post also. The past week Tehani and Tiana were gone on vacation, leaving Kadyn and I to paint rocks on our own at home. Tehani and Tiana are still working on the rocks and gathering inspiration while away to pull their weight as well . This is a photo of the set up for our last rock painting session I had with Tiana and Kadyn During this Blog Period I am n
